| We Use an Interdisciplinary Team Approach |
 |
The complex and diverse natures of the pathophysiological processes that may underlie a pain disorder require an individualized assessment and management plan for each patient. |
| At OSRC, we utilize an interdisciplinary team approach that includes the collaboration of an interventional physiatrist and pain management physician, pain psychologist, physical therapist, a clinical nurse educator, and a registered dietitian. Neurosurgical, Orthopedic, Psychiatric and other subspecialty input are sought as deemed necessary. |
| At OSRC, clinicians involved in patient care hold a monthly “Pain and Rehabilitation conference”, during which a progress report is created on all complex cases. Treatment response is reviewed, barriers to favorable outcome are identified, and therapeutic interventions are refined. |
