What is Interventional Pain Management?

Interventional Pain Management is a subspecialty practice in which the diagnosis and treatment of pain disorders is achieved through minimally invasive procedures. Please refer to the Interventional Techniques link to review what is available at our practice.

What is Comprehensive Pain Management?

Comprehensive Pain Management would involve a combination of psychology, physical rehabilitation, interventional pain management, vocational rehabilitation as well as medical evaluation and management. Such programs are typically entered when medical diagnosis and treatment is completed. Our practice is dedicated to utilizing comprehensive pain management with our patients.

Do you provide pediatric pain services?

No. We treat adults only.

How can I schedule an appointment?

Please request that your primary care provider refer you to our practice. Please refer to the Referral Physicians link for more information. Once your referral is received, we will contact you to set up your initial appointment. Please refer to our Contact Us link for our contact information and directions.

What if I miss an appointment or need to cancel?

We have late cancellation and no show policies. You may be required to pay a fee before we reschedule you. Office appointment cancellations require a full working day’s notice, at least 24 hours. Procedure cancellations require two full working day’s notice, at least 48 hours. With inadequate notice a no-show fee will be charged to you.

Can I bring my children with me to my appointment?

It is strongly recommended that you should not bring young children with you. This is an adult only practice. We do not provide childcare or a play area.

Do you treat Personal Injury Payment (PIP) patients (motor vehicle accidents)?

Yes, however, we require payment on the date of service.

Will you manage or prescribe oral pain medications?

Yes. Our practice is dedicated to comprehensive pain management. Medication management is provided when appropriate and consistent with our medication management policy.

Do you prescribe pain medication on the first visit?

Maybe. Often we do not prescribe medications on the first visit. Medication management decisions are made after our initial medical evaluation and completing all relevant work ups. Medication management will usually begin on the first follow up visit (2nd visit) if needed.
